Program

Off-Season (Fall & Winter) Training: Seattle Stars teams are Powered By E|L1 so they will spend their pre-season learning from Guy Keller, his staff, and E|L1’s professional instruction staff.

All indoor workouts will be held at E|L1’s Seattle facility.

2x/week workouts from late October – late February
1x/week (1.5hr) instructional workouts led by Guy Keller & E|L1 professional instructors
1x/week (1.5hr) team practice led by Seattle Stars coaches*
Access to E|L1’s open facility use (M-Th) from 2:30pm-4:45pm

*Stars coaches are brought in and vetted by Guy Keller to ensure that he has the right staff to prepare players for high school and collegiate baseball. They will be supported by E|L1’s educational and instructional staff as needed throughout the season.

In-Season (Spring/Summer) Information: Seattle Stars teams will play league and tournaments, along with continuing practices for continual growth.

League Play

The 18u Seattle Stars will continue to play in the Seattle Premier League.

Tournaments

They play in some of the most competitive tournaments in the Northwest. They are planning on continuing in the following tournaments for the 2019-20 season:

  • Ron Omari Classic
  • Curt Daniels (OR)
  • Baden Invite
  • Seattle Premier League Invitational
  • Josh Dickerson Memorial
  • Brandy Pugh
  • Mid-Summer Classic

Practices

During the season, while the schedule is busy, practices will occur. These will be held at E|L1 facilities or local fields. Hitting before games will be common and having more in-depth outside workouts to address the needs of the team and individuals.

Players should expect to have few days off as this is a program to prepare for the grind that college programs will place on their players.
